The Orlando Magic just beat the Bobcats today which means that the Knicks will not be able to take the 6th seed in the East even if they win the rest of the games of the season.
This will be just the third playoff appearance in the past 10 seasons for the New York Knicks.
If the Knicks continue to play how they have been playing for the past few games, they may make it out of the first round of the playoffs (if they can avoid Miami).
Carmelo Anthony has been great after a rough start and coming back from injuries. They have a couple of key bench players (J.R. Smith and Steve Novak) who can put up
some nice numbers and get the second unit going.
